Jakarta – Nahdlatul Ulama Indonesia University (Unusia) welcomed a visit from Nahdlatul Ulama University of West Kalimantan (UNU Kalbar) to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on the Institutional Development of the Three Pillars of Higher Education on Wednesday (July 8th). The UNU Kalbar delegation was received by the Acting Rector of Unusia, Dr. Syahrizal Syarief, along with the Vice Rector I for Academic, Research, and Community Service, Fatkhu Yasik, before the signing ceremony.

The Memorandum of Understanding was signed by the Acting Rector of Unusia, Dr. Syahrizal Syarief, and the Rector of UNU Kalbar, Sukino. This collaboration serves as a foundation for the two universities to develop collaboration in implementing the Three Pillars of Higher Education while strengthening synergy between Nahdlatul Ulama universities in Indonesia.

Through this agreement, Unusia and UNU West Kalimantan are committed to developing various joint programs, including lecturer training, curriculum development, scientific seminars and conferences, collaborative research, community service, research center development, internships, graduate placement, and utilization of resources from both institutions. The implementation of this collaboration will be further outlined in a cooperation agreement in accordance with the mutually agreed upon programs.

This collaboration is expected to be a strategic step in improving the quality of education, research, and community service through mutually reinforcing collaboration. With an expanding academic network, Unusia and UNU West Kalimantan are optimistic about being able to deliver various innovations and programs that provide tangible benefits to both the academic community and the community.
