Jakarta – Nahdlatul Ulama Indonesia University (Unusia) continues to strengthen collaboration between academia and government. One example is strengthening synergy with the Indonesian Quarantine Agency (BKI) in developing the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, innovation, and improving human resource capacity. This commitment took place at the 3rd Floor of SmartClass, Unusia, Jakarta (July 8th).

This commitment was realized through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Acting Rector of Unusia, Dr. Syahrizal Syarief, and the Head of the Indonesian Quarantine Agency, Abdul Kadir Karding. This collaboration serves as a foundation for both institutions to expand collaboration in education, research, community service, technology development, and human resource capacity building. The event was also attended by the vice rectors, the leadership of the Unusia Institute of Research and Community Service (LPPM), and the leadership of the Indonesian Quarantine Agency.

The scope of the collaboration includes program coordination and synchronization, research, development and utilization of creative ideas, human resource capacity building, utilization of facilities and infrastructure, data and information exchange, community service, utilization and development of shared resources, and the preparation of academic studies in the field of quarantine. These various programs will then be followed up through Cooperation Agreements (PKS) according to the needs of each work unit.

Through this collaboration, Unusia and the Indonesian Quarantine Agency are committed to delivering various innovations that support the development of higher education, research, and technology while strengthening quarantine policies. The synergy between the two institutions is expected to make a tangible contribution to improving the quality of human resources and national development.
