Jakarta – A soft skills training titled "Empowering Future Leaders: Building Communication, Problem-Solving, Leadership, and Teamwork Competencies to Create a Professional and Work-Ready Generation" took place at the Jakoeb Oetama Hall on the Unusia Campus (July 11th).

This activity, under the auspices of the Psychology Study Program, was initiated by students from the Extension Psychology Study Program, Class of 2024, and was attended by approximately 50 participants from Unusia Psychology, other study programs at Unusia, and students from various institutions.

The training featured two speakers who discussed essential competencies for facing the world of work. Mariam Benazir, M.E., M.H., M.M. presented Leadership & Problem Solving, which examined the importance of leadership, decision-making, and the ability to resolve problems effectively. Meanwhile, Dr. Desi Hasbiyah, M.I.Kom. presented Communication & Teamwork, emphasizing the importance of effective communication and collaboration in building productive teams.

In addition to the material delivered, the event also included an interactive discussion session, providing participants with the opportunity to exchange ideas, share experiences, and engage in direct dialogue with the speakers regarding the challenges of developing personal competencies. The participants' enthusiasm was evident in the high level of participation during the question-and-answer session.

Through this training, participants are expected to further understand the importance of mastering soft skills as a complement to academic competencies and as preparation for the world of work. This activity also demonstrates the contribution of Unusia Extension Psychology students in providing a collaborative learning environment and supporting the development of communication, leadership, problem-solving, and teamwork competencies for the younger generation.
